Its three removable chopping mats provide large, double-sided cutting areas on which to work and their flexibility makes it easy to guide chopped food into a pan or waste into a bin. Their strong colour coding helps reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination of different food types and, when located on the glass base, they create a secure non-slip surface on which to cut.

With the mats removed, the toughened glass base provides an additional hygienic surface for food preparation and makes the ideal trivet – able to withstand temperatures up to 280°C
